The History of Scissor Kids
Scissor Kids opened June 15th, 1994!
In June of 1994, Kathleen and her daughter Krista had a dream of opening a children’s hair salon, and made it happen. Above is a photo of a newspaper article from June 30th, 1994 showing both of the ladies who made the legacy of Scissor Kids, which still lives on.
A New Chapter
In 2020, Krista transitioned to a new chapter in her career life, so Lisa and her husband Ken took over the salon.
Since then, the legacy of Scissor Kids has continued to grow and remain a CT staple as it has for decades!
